Beatrice Windsor

Court of Protection

Beatrice joined Edwards Duthie Shamash in September 2021 as a paralegal in the Court of Protection team, after recently completing the GDL at The University of Law as a career-changer, having worked previously for three years in advertising and PR.

During her law studies, Beatrice volunteered with the University of Law Telephone Advice Clinic, assisting solicitors to advise pro bono clients on family law matters. She also competed in the University of Law Client Interview competition, receiving a special mention for “empathy, kindness and tact” when advising a distressed client. She continues to be involved with organising the RebLaw UK Conference – the sister conference to Yale Law School’s RebLaw, the largest student-run public interest law conference in the US. In her spare time, she volunteers as a Legal Researcher with Windrush Legal Angels, helping pro bono clients affected by the Windrush Scandal to seek redress.
