Frances regularly deals with high net worth financial settlements through mediation involving foreign and business assets and large portfolio asset schedules. She involves the use of expert actuaries and valuers where required on these high net worth mediations.
Frances is regularly recommended to clients by solicitors for her high level of mediation skills in dealing with both financial and children issues arising from separation and divorce. She has been recognised in the Legal 500 for her skills in this area.
Frances also works with the Family Mediation Standards Board (FMSB) and has been closely involved in reviewing training courses set up the UK to train mediators. Frances also works as a Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) mentoring and supporting a number of other mediators.
Frances is a Law Society Family Mediation Assessor which reflects her experience and knowledge as a family mediator and her ability to assess the skills and qualities of new mediators at the beginning of their careers.
In 2019 Frances was also appointed as a Deputy District Judge and deals both with Civil cases and Family work including financial remedy and private children disputes on the Midlands circuit.
