Experience & Areas of Expertise
Hilary deals with all types of property work but she is a commercial property specialist, having worked in city firms since 1987 prior to joining the firm in 1991. She deals with commercial property acquisitions, landlord & tenant matters, acting predominantly for landlords – her clients include some of the biggest industrial landlords in the country. She has responsibility for lettings and management issues in relation to over 100 industrial estates.
Although equally at home with standard institutionally acceptable documentation, she specialises in using modern and ‘user friendly’, short form documentation. She has substantial experience in developing standard proformas and procedures with the property departments of her institutional clients. This is a vital component of her approach given that deadlines for completion are usually counted in days and frequently in hours.
