Imogen joined the firm in July 2016 as a Paralegal working with Senior Partner Shaun Murphy in the Criminal Department. In April 2018 she commenced her Training Contract working in the Crime and Personal Injury Departments. Imogen has now moved to the Dispute Resolution Department and assists Scott Sim in Employment law cases and Gerald Shamash with Parliamentary and Electoral law cases.

Experience & Areas of Expertise

Imogen gained a distinction in a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at the University of Westminster in 2016 and also graduated in 2019 with a Distinction in her LLM at the University of Law. Imogen is converting to a career in Law after graduating from Bath Spa University with a BA (Hons) in Drama in 2015.

Whilst working in the Criminal Department Imogen became an Accredited Police Station Representative in May 2017 and is able to represent clients in Police interviews under caution. Imogen has experience in the preparation of Magistrates and Crown Court Cases. She also worked with Shaun Murphy on actions against public authorities and removing police cautions from records. Whilst in the Dispute Resolution Department Imogen has developed knowledge in running small claim personal injury cases and gained experience in debt recovery and insolvency proceedings. Imogen has appeared as advocate in the County Court.

Imogen expects to complete her Training Contract and to qualify as a solicitor in April 2020.
