Born in York, Scott has predominately practised in Yorkshire and for a period in Glasgow. He deals with all aspect of contentious and non-contentious employment cases and has a particular interest in complex discrimination cases. He has litigated cases in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and in the Court of Appeal.
Some of Scott’s employment cases have become legal precedents and others reported in national newspapers and legal journals.
In addition, Scott deals with civil and commercial disputes including partnership disputes, breach of contract claims, professional negligence and contentious probate.
In 2014 Scott was named a noted employment practitioner in the prestigious Legal 500.
