Whilst we need to concentrate on being safe at this time, I want to reassure you that everybody at Edwards Duthie Shamash is working extremely hard to ensure that we are able to provide our clients with as normal a service as is possible.

We are achieving this whilst continuing to follow the very latest advice from the UK Government and other public health organisations.

Edwards Duthie Shamash has a comprehensive IT infrastructure in place which enables our solicitors and other staff members to work efficiently and securely from home.  We have made arrangements for this to be implemented so that we can maintain all of our office functions. In this way we continue to provide a high level of service to our clients.

Save for exceptional circumstances, we are not inviting clients to come to our offices.

We have facilities to meet with clients by video or audio conference facilities.  This can be achieved by telephone, Face-time, Skype, WhatsApp or whatever other similar facility may be convenient to you.

Our office systems are comprehensive and robust. We continue to receive post and communications by email.  We are also in contact with the Courts. We are attending Court hearings whenever these are being arranged.  Similarly, we continue to be in contact with all other major organisations and institutions relevant to our client’s needs.

We are also available to represent clients who unfortunately find themselves in police custody and require urgent legal advice and assistance.

We shall continue to do our utmost to ensure that a normal service is provided.

We will monitor the very latest advice received from the Government and respond appropriately.
