Edwards Duthie Shamash successfully represented a client who appealed against his convictions for indecent assault to the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division).  The Court quashed the convictions, accepting the criticisms that were made that the Judge’s summing up had not been fair or balanced to the extent that the defendant did not receive a fair trial.  This case was prepared by the Senior Partner of Edwards Duthie Shamash, Shaun Murphy.  He also represented the defendant in the Crown Court and in the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division).
