Benjamin has been qualified as a solicitor in excess of 25 years and has worked in the area of family law throughout his career. He joined the family law team at Edwards Duthie Shamash in December 2024.
Benjamin specialises in matrimonial finance work following divorce and has represented numerous clients who have a range of financial resources available to them to fight their case from modest to extremely wealthy. He also represents parents who have become embroiled in disputes over children with these issues very often arising out of a divorce.
Benjamin is approachable and takes a sympathetic approach to the difficulties that his clients are experiencing.
Benjamin is the co-author of a legal textbook in relation to child support as published by Resolution. He has formerly held a panel membership with the Law Society and has been deemed an accredited specialist in matrimonial finance by Resolution (a national and influential group of family law solicitors.)
When not in the office Benjamin can be found at his local gym lifting weights or at the cinema.
