Fathema qualified as a solicitor in October 2018 and deals with all aspects of family law. Fathema has developed a keen interest in Public Law and Domestic Abuse matters.
Fathema undertakes both Private Children and Matrimonial Finance work.
Fathema joined the firm as a paralegal in February 2015 and commenced her training contract in October 2016.
Fathema graduated from Brunel University in law (LLB) HONS and completed her Legal Practice course with the London University of Law. At Edwards Duthie Shamash she was nominated for Legal Research in complicated legal issues.
Fathema volunteers at domestic violence charities and works with refuges in the East London area.
Fathema speaks fluent Bengali.
In her spare time Fathema enjoys reading and traveling.
