About
Joe Mannion joined Edwards Duthie Shamash in October 2022 having worked as a police station representative at other firms since 2016. He joined as a paralegal and then became a trainee solicitor before qualifying in 2025.
Joe is passionate about proactively working with his clients to achieve positive results and ensuring that vulnerable individuals are given quality representation.
Areas of Expertise
While representing clients in the police station Joe has achieved positive outcomes of No Further Action in relation to some of the most serious offences including Murder, Rape and S.18 GBH.
Following his qualification as a solicitor Joe regularly represent clients as an advocate in the Magistrates court. He is developing a varied case load in both the Magistrates Court and Crown court including:

- Arson with intent to endanger life
- Harassment/Stalking
- Robbery
- Sexual offences
