Family Mediation in South London
Servicing a geographical gap in Mediation Services
Between 8.8 and 9.3 million people live in London, which is a 16% increase over the last decade, and makes up 13% of the UK population. This growth has been largest in Inner East and South London. https://www.trustforlondon.org.uk/data/topics/people
Despite the exceptionally large number of people living in the South London area, the expansion of and access to mediation services in this part of the capital has been far more limited than North, East or West London.
Easily accessible Waterloo office
Ideally placed for public transport links to South London and the South of England the office is situated within a 2-minute walk from both Waterloo Underground and Waterloo mainline station.
Whilst many stages of mediation including MIAM (mediation information and assessment meeting) and mediation sessions can now be carried out remotely, people often want to request a face to face meeting with their mediator. Our offices at Waterloo are ideally situated for such meetings.
Our fully accessible meeting rooms in our Waterloo office allow us to carry out confidential assessment meetings and mediations. We also offer some evening appointments and details can be provided on request (please ask for details of our evening appointment prices). For those clients living in South London but working in central London evening appointments are often ideal.
Meeting the growing need for mediation services in London
Family Mediation as a way of resolving disputes involving children and finances has been increasing year on year and is set to continue expanding as the Family courts struggle to keep up with demand. We hope that by increasing our mediation services to include our office in Waterloo we can help meet that demand in the south London area.
As well as our Waterloo office in South London, our mediation team is able to see clients in any of our other offices across London and Essex.
