About

Saoirse is a Trainee Solicitor at Edwards Duthie Shamash. She joined the firm in July 2023 and is currently undertaking her third seat in Wills and Probate.

Saoirse works closely with Anna where she assists in advising clients on the preparation of wills, preparing codicils (will amendments), preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and probate administration.

She continues to work closely with Alex to assist clients in matters of defamation, privacy and reputation management with high profile and private individuals.

Saoirse has previously assisted with a large number of claimants in the phone hacking litigation against News Group Newspapers Ltd and Mirror Group Newspapers Ltd, recovering substantial damages payments and, where appropriate, public apologies on behalf of their clients.

She previously assisted Gerald in issues relating to Electoral Law and has developed a strong understanding of the intricacies involved in this field working closely with Gerald during the General Election in 2024.

Academics

Graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2020, having achieved an Upper Second Class Honours in LLB Law Degree.
Undertook the LPC in September 2021 at the University of Law having achieved a distinction.
Master of Law in Professional Legal Practice.
