Changes to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
Employers should be aware that the rules for SSP have changed:
- If an employee is on furlough they do not qualify for SSP.
- If an employee is in one of the vulnerable categories and have been advised to stay at home then they qualify for SSP.
