Edwards Duthie Shamash successfully represented a client charged with attempted murder and perverting the course of justice.  It was alleged that our client had deliberately run over another person with the intent to kill them and then later lied to the police about what had happened.

The client was acquitted of attempted murder.  The lies to the police were admitted and there was a guilty plea to attempting to pervert the course of justice.  Notwithstanding the serious nature of this allegation, our client avoided an immediate prison sentence, the Court being persuaded to impose a suspended prison sentence.
