From time to time the Legal Aid Agency undertake a review of our files to ensure that quality standards are maintained.

A recent review was concluded by the Legal Aid Agency on work undertaken in the Criminal Litigation Department at Edwards Duthie Shamash. This involves a detailed analysis of a selection of files. The review is undertaken by an experienced criminal lawyer from another firm so as to ensure objectivity and independence.

We are pleased to announce that once again Edwards Duthie Shamash were successful in this review. We scored a rating of “competence plus” which is indicative of an achievement beyond that which is required.

This represents continuing objective evidence of Edwards Duthie Shamash maintaining the high standards upon which our reputation is based.
