Shabaz Ahmed secures acquittal for Murder at the Central Criminal Court Following a four-week trial at the Old Bailey

Shabaz Ahmed secured the acquittal of a 21-year-old defendant accused of the murder of Salem Koudou in Brixton in August 2020.

Shabaz Ahmed represented the client and prepared his case in full, assisted by Rashida Prescod and Sana Hamid. Shabaz also represented the client as his advocate at the 4 week trial in September and October 2022, whereupon he was found Not Guilty of Murder and Manslaughter. Shabaz was led by Ms Jenni Dempster KC at the Old Bailey, with the jury finding the client Not Guilty of Murder and Manslaughter after a lengthy and complex trial.
