  • Cardiff University LPC full time course – September 2021 – June 2022, achieving a distinction. This was my first exposure to employment law and where my interest in the subject derived from. I was gripped by the depth and ever-changing nature of employment law.
  • Training contract completed at Blandy & Blandy LLP from September 2022 to September 2024
  • Qualified in September 2024
  • Joined EDS in September 2024

Extra curricular:

  • Undertook Miscarriages of Justice Pro Bono work during my undergraduate degree which strived to prove the innocence of our incarcerated clients
  • Presented talks to secondary and sixth form students at multiple local schools to inform them of their employment rights and the routes into law in my training contract

Experience & Areas of Expertise

  • Work experience in a Legal 500 firm in Cardiff and London prior to university studies
  • Temporary work at Reading Borough Council in their Joint Legal Team as a case Progressions Officer during university studies
  • Training contract completed at Blandy & Blandy LLP from September 2022 to September 2024
  • Now newly qualified and specialising in both contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law for employers and employees. This work is inclusive of, but not limited to, settlement agreements, unfair dismissal, redundancy, restructuring, discrimination, employment tribunals, employment contracts etc.

Cases of Interest

  • Successfully defended High Court proceedings for an alleged breach of post-termination restrictive covenants.
  • High value settlement for alleged gross misconduct and subsequent dismissal of a senior member of a global bank.
  • High value settlement for a client made redundant and thus unable to apply for a new role, due to cancer diagnosis.
  • Settlement following unfair dismissal of the Senior Leadership Team after gross misconduct by the Headmaster.
