Paige joined the firm in August 2022 as a paralegal in the Court of Protection department, and began her training contract with the firm in October 2024. Paige assists Melissa Law, Laura Mannering, Kris Jackson-Hughes and Catrin Williams on a wide range of health and welfare matters in the Court of Protection.
Paige graduated from Queen Mary, University of London in 2021, having achieved a First Class Honours in her LLB Law degree. She studied Health Law as an elective module in her third year, where she developed a particular interest in capacity law and the Court of Protection. She wrote her dissertation on how UK capacity law prevents reproductive justice for women with intellectual disabilities, for which she achieved a first and received the Health Law Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement 2020/21.
During university, Paige volunteered for Citizen’s Advice Bureau, providing advice both face-to-face and over the phone on social, housing and financial issues. She also worked as a transcriber where she produced verbatim reports for various legal proceedings.
