Sunvir is a senior solicitor within the criminal department with over 20 years post qualification experience. Throughout this time she has specialised exclusively in criminal defence work as an Own Client and Duty Solicitor at the Police Station and Magistrates’ Court, with wide ranging experience in Crown Court and Appeal Court preparation, including a case before the House of Lords.

She has an excellent knowledge and understanding of the law and practice with a positive hands on, can do approach to cases – complex and otherwise – and when dealing with both challenging and challenged clients. Extensive managerial experience provides her with an invaluable background and qualities which transfer into her caseload for both private and legal aid clients across London and nationwide.
Sunvir has covered cases across the board including:- Terrorism – when she represented clients in respect of IRA and Islamic-related terrorism allegations; Very High Cost Cases – involving cases of Conspiracy to Supply Drugs, Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Blackmail and other multi-handed and gang-related offences; Serious Fraud Office prosecutions – including representing one of three defendants in a case involving an SFO prosecution brought on behalf of Russian complainant company; Serious Organised Crime; Murder, Manslaughter, GBH, Serious Sexual Offences, Child Offences, Conspiracies to Defraud, Pervert the Course of Justice; Money Laundering & Confiscation; Non-CPS related prosecutions brought by Customs & Excise, Department of Work & Pensions amongst other agencies.
Sunvir has secured acquittals in a number of serious cases, as above, and achieved successful outcomes for clients wishing to divert their cases from the Criminal courts following written representations and submissions.
