Tom joined the Court of Protection team as a paralegal in September 2026, where he assists Melissa Law, Laura Mannering, Kris Jackson-Hughes, and Jessie Marshall on health and welfare matters.
He previously undertook work experience with the firm in 2025, working with the Court of Protection and Mental Health Law departments.
Tom completed his Master of Laws at BPP University, for which he attained a Distinction. He also holds a BA in Politics from the University of York.
While studying, Tom volunteered with the BPP Legal Advice Clinic as a Clinic Assistant. He handled enquiries from new clients and reported to the supervising solicitor.
In September 2026, Tom passed his SQE1 exams in the top quintile for each exam.
