Edwards Duthie Shamash were successful in obtaining a costs award against the Crown Prosecution Service for just over £13,000 following our clients’ acquittal in Crown Court proceedings. Both had been accused of stealing monies from an elderly relative.

Edwards Duthie Shamash were recently successful in securing an acquittal in a very serious drugs trial conducted at Blackfriars Crown Court. The Defendant was charged with being concerned with the fraudulent importation of heroin and cocaine said to be in the region of approximately £25m.

Starting as a trainee on leaving university, Charles has been with Edwards Duthie Shamash throughout the entire half a century and went on to become a Senior Partner at the firm for some 20 years.
