Hatice is a Trainee Solicitor at Edwards Duthie Shamash having initially joined the firm in 2021.
During her time at the firm, Hatice has gained experience across a wide range of practice areas, including Family Law, Property Law, Media Law, Dispute Resolution, and Parliamentary and Electoral Law.
Hatice is currently in her final seat, where she is working closely with Alex Cochrane in Media Law on matters concerning privacy, defamation and reputation management, often with high-profile individuals. She is also working closely with Gerald Shamash on Parliamentary and Electoral Law matters involving the current government.
Hatice has a diverse skill set and through her training has gained significant exposure to high-profile and complex legal matters.
Before joining Edwards Duthie Shamash, Hatice worked as a paralegal in the city and volunteered at a charity providing free legal services including support at court. Hatice is highly experienced and committed to delivering high-quality and client-focused service. Hatice has built an excellent reputation and has a high level of client referral and retention.
Hatice has a strong academic background having attained the following qualifications:
