Chanel joined the firm in 2021 as a paralegal in the Court of Protection department. Chanel has attained an undergraduate degree in Law, and has recently completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) along with a master’s degree in Law, Business and Management.
Prior to joining the team, Chanel worked as a paralegal in Children and Education Law. During this time she assisted on cases ranging from representing children subject to care proceedings, assisting parents with the return of their child in international abduction cases and helping to secure EHCP’s for children with special educational needs.
Most recently Chanel gained experience as a paralegal in a busy criminal defence department in London. Here, she worked on cases involving vulnerable adults and youths in the criminal justice system.
Chanel has engaged with various voluntary roles; including participating in legal advice sessions hosted by the Citizens Advice Bureau, and delivering free advice sessions in a Legal Advice Centre where she considered issues relating to welfare benefits, housing and debt.
