About

James is a solicitor in the criminal department, where he has worked since March 2017. He initially worked as a police station representative and paralegal for several years, primarily under the supervision of Shabaz Ahmed.

Experience & Areas of Expertise

James has experience giving advice and assistance in relation to the most serious offences. He has worked on Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings, conspiracy to murder and county lines drug offences in his capacity as an Accredited Police Station Representative and paralegal. James studied at the University of Law in Bloomsbury achieving distinctions in the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC). James also achieved a Masters in Law through the University of Law. James graduated from Durham University with a BA (Hons) in History in 2014. Before deciding to pursue a career in law, James spent a year teaching English in Hanoi, Vietnam.
