Rukhma joined the firm in November 2023. Rukhma completed her LLB Law in 2017 and went on to complete LPC & LLM in 2018. She qualified as a solicitor on 15th April 2020. Outside work, Rukhma enjoys doing henna, painting, traveling, spending time with family and friends. Rukhma speaks fluent Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and can assist clients in their language.
Rukhma is an experienced family solicitor. She deals with a broad range of privately funded family matters arising from breakdown of relationship. Her range of practice covers divorce; complex financial disputes; Private children law cases; injunction proceedings; and issues relating to cohabiting couples. She has dealt with cases involving domestic violence, and cases with international aspect.
Rukhma’s approach is always client-focused with an eye on the realistic outcome. With excellent client care skills, Rukhma guides her clients with empathy through the key issues in the case and works hard to achieve the best solution for her clients. Rukhma works with clients from all backgrounds. She is experienced in dealing sensitively with cases with cultural or religious aspects.
Rukhma advocates resolving family issues as amicably and cost-effectively as possible. However, if it becomes inevitable to resort to Court, Rukhma is well experienced in advising and supporting clients through contested court proceeding.
